Looking for a subtle pop of color in a minimalist style?
We took a gorgeous cobalt blue, recycled glass bead (approximately .23" - .27") that is indigenously produced in Ghana, West Africa. These beautiful beads are made using a centuries-old method. The glass is derived from a variety of recycled sources including old beverage and medicine bottles. The procedure for making the beads consists of a number of steps where powdered glass is poured into molds of clay and baked in a specialized oven. These beads are produced in large part by the Krobo tribe and are environmentally friendly.
The necklace is 18" long and has a gold-filled lobster clasp and extender chain.
